Well after trading in my Fabia VRS a couple of years back I'm hoping to return to the Skoda fold with a Yeti.

I had my heart set on the new Hyundai ix35 - drove it at the weekend - and didnt like it!! Basically just a blinged up i30 on stilts! It also had some awful quality switchgear. A massive contrast to the Yeti that I then went to test drive and fell in love with - it instantly felt right and, to me, is what a SUV should look like. And no need to tell anyone on here that it oozes quality.

I'm going for the 140 Elegance diesel in Cappuccino. Just hunting about for deals at the moment. Bit of a mare when you take into account finance deals, trade ins and the web brokers. Probably end up at a local dealers as they are not far off the web price and I can poke him in the eye if I need to!

Well I am pleased to say that the deal is done!!! I will shortly be the proud owner of a Yeti 140bhp Elegance 4x4 in Cappuccino.

The best bit is that delivery should be in the next couple of weeks Because I was flexible on colour and accepted one that had a couple of extras on (rough road pack and park assist) its waiting in Germany ready to come over.

Cant wait - I think I am looking forward to this car more than any other!!

Thanks!! Havent seen the colour in the flesh so to speak - mainly just the pics on here!!

Didnt want silver. Mucovado bit too dark for me - but lovely all the same. So it was down to white, steel grey or cappuccino. Capuccino was what they had 'in stock' so thats what it is!!

From what I can tell it changes colour from silver to beige and everything in between LOL

Well done, Simon! Obviously Tibetan White would be more distinctive but Cappuccino should do....

Exhaust gas getting into the coolant

Hi, I've recently sold my MK2 and bought a MK3. I'm having issues with the exhaust gas getting into the coolant. I need to find out what is causing this. Is it likely to be the EGR or something more serious like a blown head gasket or a crack in the block? I've only had this car for 5 weeks so am looking to approach the dealer I bought it from. They only gave a 30 day warranty. They already had it in for a week and were supposed to repair this but they haven't done it.

Little update since i posted about my Superb 280 going stage 2 back in may. I have questioned the high torque figure ( 618nm) with the tuner and was assured that it's a safe map, ok i left it at that. Three days after remap, car starts burning oil without even being pushed hard. So i switched to thicker 5w40 Castrol Edge ( issue rectified) Week later i pinned it from traffic lights and car cut power after 5000rpm. Gear changes felt really rough and jerky. Questioned it with the tuner, got nowher

History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has come across this exact issue, because after 7 months and multiple visits, neither my dealer nor Škoda’s technical support has been able to identify the cause. Car: Škoda Superb Sportline, 2021, 200kW Problem: When braking, the side sensors intermittently trigger a warning that there is an obstacle very close to the car — even though there is nothing there.
