On a totally standard 1.0l lupo.... handstands indeed ;)

Erm no.. not quite std..

Im running Ap 4 pots with 335X32 discs on the 4x4, couple of pointers based on knowledge & experience.

Firstly they are ****in fantastic & definately saved me from a potentialy monumental smash on the cannonball when a Porsche went sideways in front of me at about 90 (porsche was totalled but nobody hurt)

The pads have a larger area than those in the Brembo 4 pots therefore more pad on the disc, I believe it might be as much as 20% bigger.

I have run Ferrodo DS 2500 pads, a bit dusty but work fantasticly lasting about 10000 miles

I can regularly hit the ABS so unless you do a lot of track work & probably using sticky tyres/slicks I see no point in having 6 pots, I originally wanted 6 pots but was given this advice, took it & the supplier was right

I had custom Bells & Brackets made which cured the offset problem

The Yellow writing on the Calliper saying AP racing isnt put on very well, OK for hand washing but a jet wash will bring it off

As a guide I bought mine just over 12 months ago, spec being AP 4 pot callipers, 335X32 discs, custom bells & carriers, DS 2500 pads, Dot 5.1 Fluid, standard hoses were kept as they are reinforced so braided no advantage.

All in cost fitted was

Dust Sealed Caliper pistons or not?

Yes Dust sealed
