Power steering pump, time to change, guide?

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has a guide to changing the power steering pump? Also, if anyone has done the swap, how long does it take?

Any tips appreciated!

About to do same were the hell is it no books on it.

From what i read, it shouldnt take that long really. Front left wheel off, arch liner out. off with three holding nuts that surround the pump and then off with the lines (after draining the pump somehow) and electrical connectors. reverse to put back on emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif plus go lock to lock with wheels in the air to bleed rack and teach the pump the end stop lengths..

Just a note make sure its the pump thats gone. Mine was leaking, thought it was the pump or housing it turns out its the steering rack. pump not difficult to take out some long extensions on ratchet make it easy

I followed the haynes book, took me around an hour and a half.
