GTI International 2010! Something for the dervs!

Featured Replies

I am not arranging a stand for Briskoda here as I am attending with another club, TDIsport

I am therefore inviting any diesel driving members to come on the same stand should they wish. The usual attractions will be there - 1/4 mile strip, handling circuit, plenty of cars & other clubstands and a huge trader selection too! TDIsport is aiming to keep hold of the best clubstand title won last year and you could do your bit to help!

GTI International is on 26/27 June. Price is £26 for the weekend, or £15 for either Saturday, or Sunday.

You can book via this link http://www.autometrix.co.uk/gti2010/gtibookingform.html but please ensure you select TDIsport from the drop down list when finalising.

If you want any more info, please let me know. Please PM me when you have booked too. :)

Anyone else fancy coming along? Managed to drag a couple of furbies across to show.

There is going to be some real effort put into the stand this year to try and keep the best stand prize. ;)

Do you have comedy cars on your stand Jason ?

How much effort? Do the cars have to be spotlessly cleanemoticon-0107-sweating.gif / clean-ish / doesn't matteremoticon-0144-nod.gif ?

Clean is good obviously, but having mods/styling is irrelevant - All about the dervs!

Cool - I can't wait to be honest. Hoping it will be the mongrels first 13 second 1/4 miles too.

im going to be going down on the sat i think, give me a chance to have a run out with my remap :giggle:

if my car didnt have a large key scratch and a cracked bumper id of put it on the stand but cant be letting people down, it was the same with the chatsworth show tbh.

looking forward to it though

I doubt all the cars on TDIsport stand are going to be immaculate. Mine for one has its fair share of marks, etc. :D

It's just about representing the "engine" so to speak. :)

yeah i suppose, it just makes me feel sick looking at it :'(

should be a good show though, you got many on the stand?

I'm on the S & S just for a laugh, but I'll pay the stand a visit at some stage

I think the red grille would lower the tone anyway :S

I can't help out now. Deadline for advanced bookings was Friday. tut tut - people always leaving it to the last minute.... :giggle:

I think now it might be a case of paying on the gate, but best to ring first to see if you can get on the stand.

i read online that you can turn up and pay on gate, if theres then space on a stand you can move to it? is this correct?

Hmmm - Well, autometrix are meant to be.

Are you on TDIsport?

To be honest, if you paid on the gate and said you were with TDIsport but never received your hanger (like many haven't....) they're not going to turn you away. :)
