Just about the service my fabia vrs, went into halfords to gets the filters etc but they dont have the fabia vrs part numbers listed and their staff dont know either.

Does anyone know the halfords codes for oil sump nut, oil filter, fuel filter?

where there any listed for tdi models?

its the same filter/bung as the Ford Galaxy or the VAG variants PD130, 2000-2008

I would like to think that somebody working in a Halfords store would either know ,or have access to where they might get the information from Head Office ,or perhaps over the Internet, at the time they were asked?

Somewhere the continuous training of there staff is not being carried out. It is no wonder they get bad press!.

You didn't expect Halfords to provide motor-factor service via it's poorly paid retail staff did you? All they do is refer to their catalogues, which I have seen a good few inaccuracies in. It's more or less a McJob.

I dont have Halfords part numbers but do have Skoda and mann hummel numbers for all the filters and sump plug. Halfords surely should be able to cross reference it.
