Which Mobile?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have finally been persuaded to upgrade my Nokia 3310 for something a bit more modern.

Now, the 3 choices I have are:

or

http://www.lg.com/uk/mobile-phones/all-lg-phones/LG-touch-screen-phones-GC900.jsp

or

Does anyone have one of the above and if so, would you recommend it?

I have to say, I'm not sure still? how easy is the Blackberry to use?

Any comments would be good emoticon-0100-smile.gif

Thanks for the replies emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I'm a bit restricted to the 3 choices as it's only a cheap £10/month contract

Next -network - Don't know if you can do it on Vody contract ,but it's a nice one on PAYG -family - I've got mrs/daughter/Gran daughter on mine - costs £5 a month , with unlimited call between members .Checkout Vodafone Family .

Just got one of these on a £15pcm contract, very happy, no silly gizmos, reasonable camera, good mp3 player, uses any headphones (though you will need to use the supplied ones for FM radio). As its a standard 3.5mm connector, I can also plug it into suitable stereos, and my car stereo. My MP3 player hasn't left the house since I got it!

Drawback - the video only seems to record for a max of 10 seconds.

VERY small onboard memory, but easily expanded via MicroSD cards (pretty cheap from fleabay), ie I have a 4 gb card, about £5, currently has over 360 tracks on it, plus photos etc. Still plenty of room left. If you have a MicroSD - USB reader you effectively have a portable USB device although you will have to remove the card to do this!

Much as I'd have loved a Piephone or an HTC, I really need a phone I can drop occasionally!

I looked at this phone, but in the end opted for the 6700 classic instead. No regrets so far and on a £10/month contract with O2 :D

Found another drawback on 6303 - no close-up mode on camera :wonder:
