I'm Aimee.... i've just joined the site... i signed on the dotted line yesterday for my new pride and joy - Silver Fabia VRS!!!

I cant wait to go and pick it up - just waiting for my V5 to come back with my private plate being removed from my old car and then its all mine.

Thought i would say hello now - get the ball rolling for myself on here...

I'm very much so into my cars, and hoping to gain alot of knowledge and tips from you guys, and maybe meet some at meets or shows etc.

In terms of modifications - How deep are your pockets? In no particular order here's what I've done:-

Magnex/Bespoke stainless de-cat exhaust

AmD re-map 173bhp 290lb/ft

Green panel filter

VAG PD160 air intake intake

Lowered on Eibach springs

MOMO/SEAT Sport upper front strutbrace

Forge Motorsport rear strutbrace

Stripped interior

Black 17" Audi TT comps (16" steelies for winter)

VAG 312mm brakes upfront

Grooved Discs and DS2500 pads

Pikey wheel arch intercooler vent

Crank case hose vent to atmosphere

Poweflex Poly bushes all round

Jabba RARB

BFOFMIC to go on soon!

That list is sounding good and impressive. My old car was a BMW Mini Cooper... so i'm upgrading haha so its going to take me sometime i think to get to grips with what im doing

My MINI was running 135bhp which wasnt bad considering was 115bhp as standard.

Is it right in what ive heard on the turbo's being likely to go if you remap a VRS?

Is it right in what ive heard on the turbo's being likely to go if you remap a VRS?

Bought my vRS with 17k on the clock. Had it remapped at around 30k it is now on 133k on the standard original turbo That said I've heard of other that have gone pop in a short space of time.

I'll likely be on here tomorrow telling you all how my turbo went bang on the way home tonight or summat now!!

In regards to vRSNEXT - It could just be a seat surgeons job? Which could mean that the car did indeed belong to a member on here.

Seat Surgeon retrim all the way!

Octy ones don't fit in the furby and octy ones don't look exactly like that IIRC.

Very nice looking retrim, love the contrasting stitching. Major Drool!!!
