Remapped............

Featured Replies

Well what can I say! Paul definately knows his stuff! He's just left after doing a remap on my Fabia VRS. Nice guy - easy to chat to, had a bit of banter about the cars while he read my software version, cleared my codes and uploded the remap.

Turns out my software was written in April 2003 - very early! Considering my VRS is September 2003!! I've been out for a little drive around Crieff to get to see what kind of power it makes. Not pushed it hard - just taken it out for a cruise with a little blast. Should settle down in a few days and will post up results if/when I get it rolling roaded. Definately more moke higher up the rev range - much less smoke!

Big thanks to Angel Tuning! :)

Sounds good!

I have an Angel Tuning remap too and am pleased with it. Not noticed much in the way of clutch issues yet so hopefully it's one of the more conservative maps. I've never been on a rolling road so would be interested in the results. The best part of the remap for me is the extra grunt in-gear, it was already pretty good but with the remap you just seem to get an extra shove. Overtaking is so much easier/safer/quicker. I hope you'll be pleased with the results long term.

For interest, what power increase have you declared to your car insurer?

I have it listed on my insurance as +45bhp remap - cost me £25 to have it added to my policy - which is the increase that Angel Tuning quotes on their site.

That is a good result from your insurer. :)
