FK lowering springs.

I know FK are a fairly reputable company where suspension is concerned, perhaps not the best, but i've never really heard of anybody having and major issues. They sem cheap - would you buy? yes or no?

Life expectancy of them?

I'm not particularly bothered about ride comfort, as I used to drive a car with coilovers & polybushes lol..

Fk are very good, I had the cheapo AK coilovers on my Vento, were very good!

I had FK coilovers on my Seat Ibiza and they were good but very bouncy...

I'd wanna check that they'll be ok on the vRS first as it doesn't state which engine they're sprung to work with.. the last thing you want is 1.2htp spring on a 1.9tdi.

Maybe they have all the different types though? Hence the 40/60 quote.. lowers a vRS by 40 and standard cars by 60?

Maybe? To clarify that though, i'd simply drop them a message, see what they say. I'm sure they ca supply the different spring rated springs. Price seems very attractive though

40/60 means that they lower the front by 40mm and the rear by 60mm

& 60 is too much for standard shocks?

I would say so.

As a general rule if you go more than 40mm lower you need shortened shocks plus on the fabia you will need shortened droplinks for the front anti roll bar

I mailed the seller and he states that the spring kit is not suitable for the vrs

Yeah I got a message back saying they'd fit but drop lower....so I assumed they're for the 1.2/1.4 so i'm giving it a miss
