Service interval reset on Superb I 1.9 tdi 130hp

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm Marco from Italy.

Yesterday I changed for the first time the oil all the filter (air, oil, a/c filter and Gazole filter) in my Superb I 1.9 TDI 130hp (year 2004), after that, I would like to know how I can reset the interval service in the dashboard.

I know that procedure to do this:

1 - key in OFF position,

2 - press and hold right button on the dashboard,

3 - turn key in ON position,

4 - release right button

5 - turn the left button on the dashboard in a right direction

Is correct????

thanks in advance for Your help

bye bye

I did it like that on Saturday, it works fine.

That is providing you are on fixed and not variable servicing (as this method will revert the car to fixed servicing - VCDS or a dealer is needed to reset the variable servicing indicator)

I thought that the 1.9, 130bhp engine as on fixed servicing.

No some AWX engines on variable and the system above works for both its only the later models that need to be reset by computor which leads me to my questin does anyone know is there a vag fault reader available that willl do this on all skoda/vw models

Regarding procedure no#2 and no#5 above, where are these right and left buttons exactly.?

They're the buttons on the dials in your instrument cluster.

Nice one mate I was thinking I would have to connect it up to a vag-com ;)

Thanks
