Anyone else had this problem I updated my iphone and now it just will not work !

I am taking it back to apple store in Newcastle tomorrow which is a little annoying but means swmbo can do some shopping but still its so annoying how a phone is so realiant on itunes if something knacks up on itunes your phone doesn't work!

it won't turn on, hard re set, sync anything whats worse i have lost all contacts, pictures and everything else grrrrrrrrrrrrrr stupid iphone!

and to get telephone support its £32!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! luckily cuz it knacked up on update this charge gets waived as i'm just over the time period !

Not had quite the same problems as you, but have had to hard reset and restore it a couple of times after updates and the 3.1.3 update is a pile of steaming poo as far as I'm concerned, It seems to run really sluggish since the update, I just can't be bothered to get it back to 3.1.2 at the moment as it's apparently a pain in the rear...

When i restore it , it says complete then says the phone attached to this computer is in restore mode then you restore and same thing happens again! :(

Have you tried DFU mode? I've had to do this after one of the updates (as well as when jailbreaking my other one....)

took it to iphone shop in newcastle and it worked first time on the laptop there, plugged it in my comp and ran backup and everything was exactly how I left it! impressive stuff!

He said sometimes this just happens (I was there for 20 mins and 2 people had replacement phones) or it may of been a power usb problem, which I thought was interesting as I have a Razer Lasistus Mouse a Logitec G15 and with my wireless usb all plugged in the power consumption is massive as when I plug in Iphone it to computer at moment it says unable to charge this device so when I got home I unplugged my wireless USB and had iphone in and it charged so think I might invest in a powered USB hub.

well it works so glad to have iphone back I actually couldn't sleep last night lol!

I updated mine and it deleted everything. Very annoying. I hate using iTunes, the iPhone itself is great. Although I've been playing with my friends HTC HD thing and that's brilliant. If the new Iphone isn't out when it's due for renewal I'll get that HTC jobby.

Apart from it erasing everything when I updated it and the camera being crap the rest of it is good, obviously the battery life can only be measured in nanoseconds, about 19 to be precise.

Um I know I run out every day its so annoying! even on weekends if I don't touch the thing its down to about 50% end of day!
