Hello all, my missus and I have just purchased a shiny, Black, VRS mark one 05 plate. We are delighted with it and I envisage many hours of turbo charged enlightenment. Couple of minor but annoying issues with it I would like to discuss with fellow Octavia owners, hence joining this forum...firstly the cars in pretty good nick, 58K miles on the clock however I have noticed a minor issue with the wheel alignment/ balance. I get a very shakey steering wheel at about 60mph then it disappears and I've also noted it pulls slightly to the left. I've taken it in to my local garage and unfortunately...whatever they did, if anything at all, there appears to be no difference. The problem is still there. I will take it back for them to re-tweek. Has anyone else encountered similar probs? Secondly, I've noticed the rear spoiler is slightly bent or bowed, exactly in the middle...almost like someone has sat on it. Am I correct in thinking the rear spoiler of the VRS should be straight? I'm sure it is....I look forward to your responses.
