Re tune your freesat receivers and ITV1HD now has a dedicated channel on the EPG, originally a red button feature to view selected

programmes in HD, the whole ITV1 schedule is on there.

Only the same content available in HD but, normal programmes (Coronation St etc) are billed as 'remastered HD' so may be better

picture quality, or maybe not, but worth a look

the pq of the hd channel is miles better, even the upscaled SD programming looks better due to the channels much higher bitrate.

yeah, sussed this yesterday when i couldn't get the FA Cup game in HD via the red button

very odd that Saturdays game was in HD via the red button until midway through the first half, then just went off, at that time though i didn't know there was dedicated ITV HD channel, so watched the game in SD
