Hi everyone.I have been getting little snippits of your forum through search results for skoda fabia vrs's and decided to join up as it seemed a pretty damn informative place to be.I am going to be picking up my new Fabia vrs in about four days and cannot wait .I have been taking such a lot of stick at work about going to have a diesel skoda but ever since i test drove one eight months ago i knew it would make all the smart comments worthwhile.My plan is that after i get married next year i want to start fiddling ie getting it chipped to 180bhp and lowering it.Im not interested in ned boy racer style bodykitting etc :thumbdwn: .Any advice on what to do to the vrs fabia to make it better would be much appreciated.I have read that lowering them makes a big difference to the handling which is a bit of a let-down.Is this true and if so whats the best springs to buy.Anyway this message is long enough.Just wanted to introduce myself to all the folks who have real brains and look beyong the badge.Hope to hear from some of you soon.Thanks.

Thanks for the replies and no it isnt another black one.I went for the red.Both the demonstrators i test drove were red and i think it looks quite smart but then again i would probably drive one if it were mustard.On second thoughts maybe not.I will try the articles and reviews for the info i asked for.Thanks ross.
