Anyone painted the inner part of thier front grill?

Featured Replies

Gave my fabia a mini detail this weekend and after spending ages applying black wow to each slat of my grill I thought there must be a way of taking it off and painting it black so It will always look tidy. Im not sure if you can take the grill off and how to do it? Is there another 'how to' thread by someone who has already tried this? Many thanks in advance

like Audi who have gloss black paint on them? That would look smart!

It's possible to take it off with not much effort so it can be done. I'm considering doing mine body coloured.

I think he's more referring to the slats to be painted black?

painted slats might look ok black but i'd be a bit wary of it looking a bit too much.

body coloured slats would look awful.

someone on here with a red one done the grill and the lower bumper grill red to go with the car and it was horrific.

Yea i think he is, but that guide shows how to seperate the grill surround from the grill, as he asked could it be taken apart..

Yeah like the audi ones. Gloss or satin black would look really tidy.
