Looking good

I also have the same aerial :)

when i pulled the original one out I thought I had broken it for a minute! signals seems to be ok...but it looks a lot better! :)

Yep fitted mine today as well :-). Common as muck now.

Regards Chris

haha! get em cheap before citroen put their prices up! ;)

I'd get a spare or two personally. Especially at that price.

However, the chitroen aerial is NOT anti theft

The little darlings may notice it and decide I don't deserve to own it :dull:

Honda can stick their £13 poorly fitting example right where the rising sun doesn't shine

I went to a Citroen dealer to order the aerial and they said they had never heard of that part number....so i searched the net and it came up with that number being a Peugeot part number :wonder:

So i ordered it off ebay in the end anyway :D

I also managed to yank my aerial out...and yes i do mean the aerial on the car :o so should have the stubby fitted soon.

I order one of these bad boys from e-bay on thursday (cheers for the link Grr666  )

It is a much better fit that the S2000 aerial that I had previously fitted, and looks much better B)

Cool, just ordered. My shiney silver Foliatec £5 Halfords bargain bin which has only been fitted a month or so is showing signs of rust on the mast, could probably clean it off and wax/lacquer but would prefer a more OEM black short one :)

So! anyone want to sell their s2000 one for £2? :giggle: (I 4got to yank mine off of the old fabia when I changed it  )

You won't regret it mate...

Great fit and finish...

And I've got to say I drove all around Somerset last Monday in Mrs Grrs SDI.

( House shopping... BTW )

Had the OEM radio on all day. And it didn't so much as crackle...

Better signal than my Mark 5 Golf sharkfin on my vRS.

Sooooo much better than the s2000 item Cheaper to replace if someone does swipe it too.

I Have taken my Citroen one off & replaced with this ;)

Bizarrely the Signal seems better than the Standard One :D

Woot, seriously tiny aerialage, order from ebay link in thread came very quickly. Yet to test reception and as I'm in currently in an area it can go flakey I guess there's no better location to test.

me 2...

What the hell kinda aerial is that.... Haven't seen one before....

Think it's supposed to be aerodynamic, lol. Reception is noticeably poorer, goes more crackly in low signal areas, but works acceptably in Cities where the signal strength is higher. This is on a Pioneer HU with an autoleads aerial amplifier.

Following the scrote attack which left my OEM aerial snapped in half I purchase Dean's spare Citreon aerial last week.

Not sure if i damaged something in the base while removing the broken OEM one but the stubby Citreon one gets next to no reception. I've had to resort to putting the remaining half of the OEM one back in

Sorry to hear that Cliff, Genuinely have had no reception problems on Mrs Grrs SDI at all.

She is a fussy little toerag and I'd hear all about it if it didn't work properly.

You could give one of these a go... Cheap cheap... :giggle:

Signal Booster for less dosh than a pack of fags.... Who can odds that??

I'm running a Kenwood head unit which has a booster in it already but i think i may have knocked it out when I recently had the glovebox out and was rummaging around looking for my heater resistor pack (which i never found)

That is my next point of investigation but runnign on half an OEM one seems good enough to keep the missus happy during her commute

Hi Cliff.

The Stubby did affect reception on mine when fitted, It used to drop out in a few area's but never suffered with no signal. it may be worth checking where the ariel cable plugs into the roof mount underneath the roof lining, I have had a couple of Vag Cars where the quick release connector was not pushed home fully & although seemed Ok was much improved afterwards & as you say , I would check the the Booster is getting power & functioning, I do find that after market radio's nowadays don't seem to have anywhere near as good reception as they used to. :(
