Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2

Featured Replies

Ok i have 18" RS6 replica wheels on at the moment and they are damn heavy but suit the car, just enquired today about some pro race 1.2 in antracite and i am liking the look on them, just not sure if they will suit the car, its a silver octavia Vrs.

Anyone had the 18" on theirs??

Wouldnt mind seeing some pictures of them on the Octavia ( Anthracite or other colours to get a general feeling of the look on the car) before i go for it, thanks.

Just DO IT!! the weight save alone should do it!! plus the extra width= more rubber on the road!! ignore this lot they'll start telling you to put the orginal alloys back on as they "suit the car" blah blah blah!!! how boring!!! be different!!!

I have some on mine mate, they look amazing to be honest.

I love them, had some trouble with one of mine tho, just look at one of my threads from a few month ago. all sorted now tho.

Thats a bit harsh considering no-one has replied yet :dull:

I think they look nice mate, really suit the car

Do they come with a centre cap to hide the bolts?

I say do it mate, I have 18" RS4 replicas and although I love them they are heavy. I am going for the 18" TD Pro race 1.2's in antracite when funds allow and i can part with the RS4's. And my car is silver too.

There was a place in Chatham that used to Anthracite powder-coat the standard wheels for £35 a wheel, I would look into it myself but would need to spend £65 a wheel getting the kerbing taken off first :(

Mine cost me around the £550-600 mark for new tyres, refurbish and paint.

calm doon fellas lol,

I agree that std spiders look the nuts, silver or anthracite is the best imo.

the TD are a stunning lookin rim too and they have started to do the anthracite now, anything but plain black as black makes it look like the tyre, no offence just not for me.

get the TD's mate and you will feel a diff in the way the car drives, brakes and accelerates. specially after having reps on.

Been quoted £520 with free tyre swap from demon tweeks, seems like a very good price as having a look around i cant find them, any cheaper than the.

What offset for the octy btw, cheers.

WTF is going on in this thread lol

If it were me I would put the orginal alloys back on as they "suit the car" blah blah blah!!!

No wait ...............

I do like the TD's ....go for it

Haha tell me about it!

I really like the PR1.2's too. They look brilliant on Billy's car, really suit it.

I think any nice quality multispoke alloys suit the Mk1 vRS. Speedlines, OZ's, TD's all look great.

I want some Compomotive MO's nom nom :p

Order placed for a set of Pro Race 1.2's in Anthracite :p

Dont know how im gonna be able to wait three weeks though :(

lol, yea its a long time to wait. I only had to wait 2 weeks,

Have you gone for 17s or 18?

Cheers Mark mate, I cant wait to have some spare cash to get some good rubber on them again and get them back on the car.

I did want some 18" OZ Ultraleggras but at 1200+ they are not worth it seen as the weight is the same as the TDs they do look nice tho. Might get the R32 rims done in anthracite one day lol, or get another set of TD PR1.3 lol but I need to win sonme money first.

Went for 18" as thats whats on the car at the moment with good tyres so will just swap the rubber onto the new wheels, i assume yours are 18's?

Then there will be a set of RS6 Replica 18" up for grabs which i will put in the sale section closer to the arrival time.

Edited by WelshLoon

yea mate, 18" are the only size really lol, 17 are ok but bit small, and 19+ are a bit too big for my liking, just a shame they never made 18" spiders loke the std ones

When i rang back to confirm the order, the price was £532, i thought it was £522 for some reason, well happy and cant find them cheaper than that anywhere.

Might be cause ive had a bit of work done there recently and spent a fair bit at Tweeks cycles too.
