i was told my car was built over 3 weeks ago i rang the dealer this week hoping i would be getting my new vrs soon and was told it wont arrive until the second week of may 12 weeks from when i placed my order

you seem to be tracking your order did your dealer give you this imformation or skoda uk

mine has been quite vauge i asked where my car was and he just told me it was awaiting shipping i would like to know exactly where in the system my car is

i work as a car sprayer in a new car disturbution center and know new cars get damaged in transit somtimes hope this dose not happen to mine

i placed my order on the 23 feb just hope it comes in may like he said it would

My car was ordered through Forces Cars Direct who are chasing the dealer for me! As I understand it, the dealer should know exactly where your car is and if he is not helping, there is a number you can get from them to track it with skoda direct!

Just been told mine will have been around a fortnight (maybe just over) at Emden too.

mine was at Emden 2 weeks ago (built week 13) just been told its at Sheerness awaiting transport to dealer hopefully should be at the dealer this week so not long now although i might have to wait untill next week to get it! :'(

Mine was in Emden for 2 weeks then Newcastle for a week and a half before it finally turned up at the dealer's...

I have been tracking the ships back and forth from Emden to the UK for a few days now, and I think I have figured out which ones carry the cars from Emden to the UK. There is only three as far as I can tell, and they just go back and forth too Sheerness and Grimsby from Emden.

All three arrived in the UK yesterday, they wont be back again now till probably Friday at the earliest. I believe my car was on one of these three ships, so should have it for the weekend, as this is also what my dealer believes.

Rang my dealer, he says it is now in Grimsby and he should get it in a few days. Then I'll have to wait for the paperwork to get sorted for my private plate. Hopefully I'll get it next week.

Ordered week 12 build was week 14 and will be at dealer end of this week beginning of next.

I picked a scheduled build to speed up but transit seems relatively quick.

Guess it was on the Isar Highway - had a 'phonecall minutes after posting this to say it had arrived in the UK

So what is the full journey of the Octavia, where are they built and how do they get to Emden from the factory and what is the time scale?

Mine came in on that ship last Sunday, picking it up Saturday

You should have yours by Wednesday next week then, unless your waiting till May for taxing reasons.
