I have been using the new octavia's sat nav and am a bit flummoxed by the TMC (traffic management centre?) option which allows for redirecting you when there is congestion on your route.

Has anyone been able to turn this option on? Or has anyone any experience of using it? :confused:

But the standard CD supplied dosen't have the software.

You have to buy a NEW CD with the TMC codes.

Just got the new 2008/2009 UK map disc, now TMC works (didn't before with 2005 map that came with the car). But I still need to work out how to get a re-route. Congestion on M25 this afternoon, TMC told me but I couldn't find option to re-plan my route via TMC. Tried making a manual adjust but M25 not showing as part of the route! Oh well, try again next time, unless anyone can assist with how to do this.

Does your disc have the silly "A"/"B" road speech error? (nav woman reads some "A" roads as "B" roads)
