Hi all, I have a 51 reg 1.4 mpi fabia comfort estate'My air bag light comes on when the ignition is switched on, yes I know it should . But when the engine is started the light goes out for approx 1 second and then comes back on. Not flashing just on steady. and it stays that way until the ignition is switched off. I have had the fault code read and my dealer tells me that the result is "inconclusive" what ever that means .......HELP where do I start to look for dodgy connections etc or any other possibilities.

I don't see how a fault code can be inconclusive. Most likely airbag control unit is faulty.
