Central locking switch?

Featured Replies

Hi fellas! I've searched the forums to see if this has been discussed before, but i guess not.. If i were to connect something to trigger on the unlock and lock of the central locking system, I'd would have to connect it to the electrical switch that actually controls it right? I know about the fuse diagram, is the central locking fuse point actually the switch? If not, where would i have to wire the trigger? I'm awful at electrics to I don't have a clue :| I have a fabia 2000 1.4 16v

Thanks

You would have to take the trigger from the central locking module. The circuit being driven needs to have a high impedance input to prevent dragging the original signal down too far. Usually done using a blocking diode. If you have no experience with electronics, this is best left to an auto electrician.
