DRL and Corner Lights

Featured Replies

Hey all, Here in Portugal de dealers are having a hard time to activate these lights. On the Elegance Pack the sistema is all there. The Skoda 5052 computer cannot activate this. When DRL are activated it´s the low beem lights that come on. Corner Lights forget it. Need help. Would the VAG-COM activate this.

Yes by using VCDS, (Vag-Com) you will be able to activate the DRLs and also the cornering fog lights. When I activated mine using VCDS, it gives you the option of having either the dipped main beam or the fog light bulbs as your DRLs.

Anyone with VCDS should be able to activate both DRLs and the cornering fogs quite easily.

Does this mean the only way to activate DLR is a visit to the Dealer as the handbook refers to using indicator stalk (doesn't work) and lights menu from maxidot (menu does not have DRL so also doesn't work)?

I think the dealer visit activates the maxi-dot options so you can then turn DRL's on and off.

Thanks

I've emailed the dealer and am awaiting a response.
