Autoexpress long term test

Featured Replies

Shame there are no pics of the photo shoot....

auto express have just done a ling term test of the scout, 5 stars!

that's really weird cos my monitor is only showing 4 stars!!! :giggle:

see the comments as well - 'What's the point of a long term report without stating its current MPG figure???' - just what I was thinking!!! :wall:

Aye. I only see 4 *'s

What a crap long term test!

I doubt many prospective owners are now queuing up to buy a Scout because it can top 100 on an airfield and then brake to 0 without frying the discs and pads.

As the comment suggested, we want real world mpg, faults, dealer experiences etc.

erm, don't autoexpress long-term tests take the form of several articles, covering a whole multitude of activities through which they have put the vehicle in question, and do include regular servicing/maintenance costs, mpg, etc, etc? :S

I think it's just the case that this first one happens not to in this instance, i.e. they will do another one in another few thousand miles which will/should and others after that until they hand the car back after 12 months (normal duration for AE).

Nice one

  • 2 months later...
