and s3 maf squeezed in with some effort

29157_10150178371430072_735470071_12302921_6931095_n.jpg

just waiting on a few gaskets and studs and ill get it fitted ;)

Can't wait to see how this turns out

I'm happy with my car as it is at the moment and have no immediate plans to replace the turbo.....but if the turbo were to fail, then this might make a good replacement :p

Bill.

who is mapping it??

so if you sent them the poped turbo they will do that for 550?

sounds a bargen.

that is deff on the cards. are new injectors ess? and the s3 maf? what aboput the Tip? is it same as std k03s?

billy

so what did they actually do to make it a hybrid k03 turbo?

Turbo's spec:

The K03/04 Hybrid spec is as follows...

Standard Turbine housing machined internally

K04 Turbine wheel (RS6 Type) 50mm Inducer 44.5mm Exducer.

Uprated large pad 360 type thrust bearing

Stepped gap piston rings

Standard compressor cover machined larger internally

K04 (RS6 Type) Compressor wheel 41.9mm Inducer 56.1mm Exducer

Uprated 1 Bar Garrett Type actuator

If you are going down the Hybrid route Clive, I bet you are regretting getting rid of the LSD??

no not really would be if going for silly big power but under 300 and the fact it wont be tracked means its really not worth it imho

i'll personally be doing injectors, s3 maf, TIP, exhaust turbo back, front mount, 4 bar fpr, derestricted air box and a few other little bits that escape my mind right now, Jabba sport will be mapping it, and yes, they'll hybrid a popped turbo
