PPC in the Park - Mallory Park 01/05/10

Featured Replies

OK - so its not a Skoda meet, but I will be there. :D

Practical Performance Car magazine are having their annual show there, which includes tracktime around Mallory Park

Near to Leicester. B) Should be a good day out! The 27 litre Rover SD1 will be there, and will also be a live roof-chop done in just 8 hours.

Im popping along to this, is it just the saturday or sunday aswell do you know?

A good day out and worth the 340mile round trip, especially as the promised crap weather did not appear :) that 27litre V12 Rover was worth seeing , pity it was not running though :( Anyone see the TVR Cerbera with the V8 Corvette motor

Sorry, for a minute there I thought two different people had typed 27 litre Rover.

Oh wait, they did .....

I hope it's a diesel otherwise it'll be a bit expensive to run.

Serach youtube for "Merlin SD1" - Bloke has put a plane engine into an SD1 - It generates 1600 lb/ft at 1600rpm. :D

Very probably! Those who read PPC may have noticed that some of our shenanigans were featured recently ;)

I'll be at this year's event though for sure :)

I'm booked in with Turbo Diesel Owners Club UK. One track session and usually a good show!
