hi i have a 2000 skoda fabia 1.4 mpi engine light on car down on power,when i connect to scanner says no cummunication or link error,have tried several scanners,also temperature light flashes,but coolant ok and not over heating any one any ideas. thanks edi.

I assume you have the ignition on, because it needs to be for the scanner to work.
