Replace Aerial

Featured Replies

Hi,

I need to change my aerial I know a few owners have you have done this, can anyone give me a idiots guide step by step please.

I have looked at this replacement 12cm shorter My link

Hi,

aerial easy to replace, just unscrews. Have to remove mine every time I decide to put her in to our garage

If you wish to stick to an original VAG product I understand that Seat have an aerial that's about 2/3 the length of that used on the Monster.

Regards,

TP

You might also consider Honda S2000 aerial which is shorter still and is also flexible. It fits and works fine, the only problem being the base is flared slightly more than the diameter of the Yeti's base.

Thanks, now seems a dumb question I tried aerial and yes just unscrews. I remember reading one post that said you unscrew then you have to use force to remove. Glad it is simple I have looked at the Honda aerial decisions decisions :S

Earlier aerials had an anti-theft feature which meant you had to pull quite hard to remove them !! GB

I think the garage mis understood me, when I said I wanted an aerial with good reception :giggle:
