Does anyone know what H.D. suspension is?

Featured Replies

Looking at various online stores for Koni FSDs and there's 2 options for my car:

1. Koni FSD Damper Kit Skoda Octavia Saloon 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 1.8T, 2.0, 1.9SDi/TDi 01/1997-05/2004 with H.D. suspension FSD Damper Kit (2100-4048)

or

2. Koni FSD Damper Kit Skoda Octavia Saloon 1.8T, 2.0, 1.9SDi, 1.9TDi 01/1997-05/2004 FSD Damper Kit (2100-4019)

So what's H.D. suspension? :S

High Def, means you feel the ride better as the suspension has a higher resolution.

So bascially I don't need H.D. suspension unless I plan to turn my car into an ambulance? :p

Or carry dead people. Two entirely separate things...

Ahem, cough, cough :notme:

Psst! Your secret is safe with me! ;)

There are three chassis groups for the Mk1. Standard suspension, Sport suspension and Rough road suspension.

Have a look at the data sticker thingy on your car to confirm you have a standard type chassis, which I'm guessing you will. Here's some chassis jazz for you:
