Just got back from having my cr 170 diesel remmaped made a great difference.Its now a lot more resposive and pulls loads better well worth doing.Big thank you to Ben at Sharkperformance.

Keep an eye on the fule consumption. Improved consumption is one of the reasons I'm thinking of going for the remap.........

Will do mate i was giving a bit of beans going home but still got 48mpg on a mixed 50mile run .

Any figures ??

Mine tends to give me high 40's on a reasonable run, or low to mid 40's if you enjoy the extra horses

how old is your vRS? I'm just wondering if it's a late model that comes with the additional complexity of remapping due to changes in the ECU.

Yes, Ray's vRS had the newest ECU with tuning protection.

Yes, we have been able to for a while now but just "assumed" that people would still enquire about cars with tuning protection.. but I think I will alter my signature to make it more clear, and there is now a post in our forum about it.
