Hi members i really need some help with this one my oil warning light keeps comeing on and skoda told me that i need a oil pressure switch i have a 1.4mpi 8v the skoda made before vw help with the 16v. My problem is i can't find the the oil pressure switch i was tols it is on the front off the engine one skoda dearer told me it the switch next to the oil filter and the other skoda dearer toldme it the little on on the near the bottom off the engine at the rear the bell houseing and i ask him want is the one next to the oil filter and he said it the crank sencer i have brought the new oil pressure switch well i got two as there was 2 listed butb i can take the one back it not to get my money please could someone help with this

I imagine the plugs will be different, if you unplug then you can compare with the new one. Pretty certain it's on the face of the engine inline with the oil filter.

people are saying the one next to the oil filter is for the crack sencer thou the new one i brought looks like the one near the bell houseing it not on the bell houseing it on the block
