LOL i am trying to fight off hte idea of getting a 2nd blue car, love the vrs in blue :p

drove a seat Fr and then a Vrs its night and day between them , the seat is very cheap inside the skoda is stunning.

Cool colour, then again i am biased! no need for a lawnmower then :giggle:SNV36444.jpg

If you love a colour so what , my wife's car is Grey metallic and we have just ordered a Ds3 in Thorium Grey with Carmen red wheels and black diamond cut Alloys. We nearly went Yellow , but looks stunning in sports spec < it is her car>

Thanks for the kind comments, i had been expecting a more mix reaction

went into the skoda dealer looking for a fabia Vrs tdi shocked to find out the new model only comes as a petrol car, shame always loved the look of the old vrs. With the offers on at the min 0% finance and no vat the Octavia VRS tdi is looking the car for me. I have a old clio as a day to day car which is tdi and gives crazy 60+mpg fuel economy however it drives so badly that i have started to really hate the car, its time to get rid. The Octavia VRS tdi seems to give me good economy, good long distance touring (which the Subaru at 10mpg doesn’t) and a very good level of everyday performance. I have owned a few other VAG cars from seat and the build quality should give me stress free driving for well over 5 years.

hopefully they will follow seat with the new fabia vrs and put a diesel in it like the new ibiza fr, time will tell

You must be on a fair whack to buy the VRS and have scoobie as track car

 the vrs seems like a great deal at the min with the two offers they have running.

Oh i agree a fantastic deal , but I could never afford another car without px my old one

Welcome to the site, nice looking Scoob pity your turning it into a Track Car though. D15VRS has a Fabia VRS and the other half a Scoob, The VRS is a good little Car, but the Scoob is in a different class. Say that I cannot get him out of my car.

Its going to be a struggle to be honest, going to hold off till the last few days of the deal to try and spread my costs. I hate spending money on my old clio to keep it on the road and put it back in good condition. The skoda is going to be a long term car. , looked at small cars like the polo but they seem very £££ when you think about what you get for the cost of a vrs

Well its not going to be a full track car, just limited to 4,000 miles a year, i have a few planned trips to Le Mans and the ring. They are Mega cars.

Thanks
