I bought the replacement stalk off fleabay and had my local Skoda garage fit. Cost me around 270quid in total and was worth every penny. The Octavia diesels appear to have most of the loom already in place and all thats needed extra came with the stalk....

Awesome supplied and fitted mine for 115 quid, not sure if they still have an offer on?

£175.......http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=10616&xSec=298

Awesome did mine £100+VAT, still the same price if you book it through fleabay in their clearance section. Best thing i've done to my Octy :thumbup: .

yup awesome def seem to be the cheapest, just shame they are so far from me, was meant to be up that way a few weeks ago and was going to get it done, for £115 fitted inc its just not worth doing yourself!
