Pikey shortshift kit done

Featured Replies

Did it two weeks ago or so and forgot about. :giggle:

Hacked an inch off the metal gearstick - replaced everything else - Definitely an improvement. Reduces throw needed to shift enough to make it feel better.

Easy to do too - hacksaw was toughest bit with it being difficult to keep gearstick steady whilst using saw.

I used mix of dremel and hacksaw  done the edges with dremel to get the groove in, hacksaw the centre bit. I also dremelled the side slot too, otherwise the gear-stick doesnt actually get shorter :D.

I need to do this still!
