Superb Climate Codes

Featured Replies

Hello Fellow Briskoda Members

Can you please help me? I just got new new Skoda Superb Comfort 130 TDi company car about 2 months ago, and already I have managed to rack up 9 penalty points for speeding. In an attempt to 'control' my speed, can anyone give me the access code to see my speed via the climate control screen? I tried using blower up, cold and econ buttons, but from there on it, I dont know what code to punch in or how - is there a way? Love this new car, but I am on my way to losing it if I get caught one more time! Thanx. (PS - I am new to this web-site)

Hello and Welcome Scottie1971,

9 points in 2 months, don't think the speed on your climate will help!!!

i think you need a Road Angel or some form of GPS location.

could be money well spent.

Not sure about the codes for the climate control panel - but chances are they will be the same as the Octavia ones.

Both the Fabia and Octavia are also fitted with a large speedometer located directly in front of the driver :D .

IIRC the Superb has a speedo located in front of the driver behind the steering wheel too

Yep, mine does :D

I would also agree that the climate speedo reading isnt really going to be of any use, it will be too low down....but it is the same as the Octy/Passat.

I would also consider a Road Angel. The Superb is a very deceptive beast and hides your speed very well from you.

Speedos are not allowed by law to underread so if make sure that your speedo reading does not exceed the posted speed limit when driving you will be OK. If you have cruise control fitted, try using that to maintain a legal speed.
