Powerflex bushes - easy to fit?

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I've finally diagnosed the clunking from the front of my Octy as worn rear wishbone bushes, so have weighed up the options and have decided to replace the rear and front wishbone bushes and the ARB bushes wirh Powerflex ones - seems cheaper than new wishbones!

Any pointers, possible problems, extra bits I'll need? I've a reasonably well equipped garage nowadays.

And is the front ARB on a 2004 vRS hatch 21mm or 23mm as standard?

Ta.

You can buy complete partern part wisbones for about £25 each.

Put TT bushes and superpro with new ball joints on mine was easy enough took about 2 1/2 hours plodding along. Old ones came out easy enough and new ones popped in without any hassle.
