Washed and dried car, and by the time I had put the hose away, the car was covered in a fine layer of pollen  Even the Moggy which is tucked away in the garage is covered. :p

Cut all the trees and shrubs down within sight of the car??

That''s the main problem, my property is surrounded by trees, and whilst aesthetically pleasing to the eye, pollen and bird poo are a constant problem. Have a single garage, so making it into a double might be an option, all be it an expensive one :o

You want to see our cars - parked under street limes that are coming into leaf for a start and in addition we are having a conservatory built so there's tons of brick, concrete and sand dust around as well... dirty is not a strong enough word (and I can;t be faffed to clean them as they'll be as bad again the next day).

I work and park my car all day at Manchester Royal Infirmary and they've been demolishing large chunks of old hospital buildings (Chirldrens Hospital, Eye Hospital) for months - the process invloves large scale demolition, extracting the metal and then grinding the rest into dust to be carted away. I'd have to wash my car every day to keep it clear of the remains of 19th Century crushed hospital dust that settles on it!
