Xenon Lights

Featured Replies

I am due to pick up my 04' Silver Furby VRS up on saturday and I'm getting really excited. I want to change the front lights because it has the dull and boring originals. I was reading somewhere that Xenon lights are available as an extra on the Fabia VRS. Can someone give me a price and/or direct me in the right direction?

Thanks

p.s, I hope this is in the right section, my appologies if it's not.

V rare apparently, not worth doing.. saw some 2nd hand not so long ago for £300.. then went up to £500! lol :wonder:

P.s. Welcome to Briskoda :)

I have them along with cruise, heated seats and a 3rd headrest :8

I have the Factory Xenons & i must admit that im not overly excited by them, They are not worth the extra cost over the standard units for the actual benifits in my eye's ..

I'm kinda getting the picture already, I just found an article with a few extra's listed, Xenon's were a £500 extra :o. Maybe I'll check out some HID kits instead. I've seen some floating around on ebay for £65-70, so I think it's a worthy project.

Xenon Headlight were a £500 optional extra (in 2005 brochure). I'm sure I have read on here if you want projector headlights they are £500 each new from the dealer. :o There are kits available to retro-fit bulbs, however there are legal issues surrounding fitting these Kits into normal headlights. It's been mentioned in this site many times before. You need these projector lenses, headlight washers and automatic levelling, even then they may not be right..

The best bet is to replace your bulbs with blue tinted ones (e.g. Blue Visions) for xenon look or try higher performance bulbs (Osram NightBreakers or Philips X-Treams).

I see, thanks for the info. I'll take that legal issue into account for sure. I'll stick to the high performance bulbs instead, I'll check out those two you mentioned.

Besides, it would only be for looks, only 30% of the day is darkness this time of the year :D
