Map sensor or injector problem??

it isnt throwing any codes up or lights on

You cant stop lag im afraid, well you can but its silly money to do

Get an anti lag system fitted!!

Or remap it!!

This is an octavia isnt it!??

If it was a fabia i would expect hesitation at around 1800rpm to be the blt egr engine stutter...?

Would you not be better trying in the octavia 1 forum part??

Well if you have a flat spot it could just be a trait of the car, see if someone on here will take you a run in there standard octy vrs to compare, maybe your just wanting more than is available, the standard octy isnt exactly rapid anyway, a remap could make it more the car your after!!

If your anywhere near preston give dave massey a call at ads global! He works in conjunction with richard washbrook who is a remapping god! Daves a clever chap who'll give your car a good going over before he remaps it!

Thread moved, and FWIW, the MAP sensor on my wife's car showed no fault codes until it was completely dead, although there were signs of an incipient fault for a long time before. One symptom is poor fuel consumption, and another is a 'lumpy' idle...
