Remove Boot Card

Featured Replies

Been trying to remove the plastic trim on the boot lid with the motor behind and I can't for the life of me work out how to get it off. Is it just a bunch of clips holding it on? or am I missing some screws somewhere?

Any help would be great

Thankyou

No screws , you have to prise the trim off. Start at the hatch lock and using your fingers or a some other implement that won't scratch the paintwork, pull the plastic trim edge out and you will hear a click as each clip comes undone and work your way round the trim. The last clips to be released are below the rear window. Most probably some clips will damage the mounting points on the plastic panel. and will ping off into the hatch cavity, you can fish them out ok though. Refitting is a nightmare job and best with some help re aligning the panel, takes a lot patience to get back on right.
