what do you mean by felting mate?

some modifications would be needed basically

looking at that do you know how you are going to run your piping for it?

well no its my 1st octty so i was thinking of just dropping it off to a garge and let them deal with it..

unless you know somewhere i can get one that would be easier to fit?

the reason why i ask about the way you want to pipe it all up is because this is how octavia intercoolers usually look

http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=5555&xSec=294

the inlet/outlet on the one you have shown mean that unless you know exactly where you want your piping there might not be enough space to plumb it all in as you would have to double back on the intercooler.

if you are set on that cooler you will have a shed load of pipe work to do and it might not be the best option available.

you wouldnt know where in birmingham they are based? or a contact number for them?

thank you

i cant really comment if your mechanic is capable orn not,i would have thought he could bend ally pipe for you though, its not the piping thats the problem its where you put the piping as there isnt exactly alot of free space around and routing is important

its alright these chinese guys are always up to some kinda scam lol

i bought a cold air intake pipe with the air filter and a hid 6k kit for 80 quid so ill take a trip down in the morning and see steven and see what special offer hes got for me :giggle:

does this fit without any modification to the crash bumper as its only half the width of the forge one ?

couldnt see any brackets for the intercooler either

CaN someone who has one of these fitted get it on a rolling road to see what it's like.

Only thing stopping me, well that and swmbo
