Power windows switches

Featured Replies

Anyone know the part code for the power windows switches both passenger and drivers side?

The passenger side window switch just flat out doesn't work anymore, with no click on the switch - and the drivers side one now seems to have developed a similar fault, now only working on gentle presses...

Anyone have any idea on how much it'll cost to replace them?

Think they were around either £12 or £20 on eBay for the driviers side when they crop up. Agree though, I found them too easy to break.

My drivers side one is doing the same,

any quick tips on how we replace the switch?

Off the top of my head - the plastic bit in front of the switch slides/lifts off the arm rest, leaving just the switch (I think).

If you look up at the bottom of the door, there's a hole in the armrest which a 'trim removal tool' goes into (I managed to use a screwdriver), which then bends the tab holding the switch so it comes lose. Once this piece is off, then the switch unscrews from the arm rest.

Sorry for the awful description, but I don't have a Fabia anymore and it was a while ago. But once the most forwards part of the arm rest is off, the rest becomes visible and should make sense.
