Just wondering if anyone would be up for a camping weekend in the lakes ? Prob somewhere like Keswick around the end of July 23rd / 24th / 25th

I know a really good site only 1/2 hour walk from Keswick (2 mins in the car) with great facilites / cafe / shop (very near to a pub 5 mins walk) http://www.scotgateholidaypark.co.uk/index.php

I'm going to register my interest, as could combine this weekend with a weeks hiking / climbing in the Lakes. However, those dates seem familiar but not sure why....

I'm next at work saturday, I'll try and book the time off then

I've got the 24th and 25th off, and rostering are trying to get me the friday as a rostered day off too, so I'll be there.....

just a thought though, I don't think that campsite is keen on groups, Dale bottom farm may be a better bet, but its not my weekend, we go where you want

Anyone in to Mountain Biking? I love it but find it hard getting time to do it. Make the occasional trip to Grizedale though. If I went I'd be taking the bike, anyone else up for some MTBing? Don't worry if you don't have a bike, you can rent them!

I may be able to make this . . . I'm actually going on holiday on the 25th with family, but that's in Northumberland and I think we're taking both cars, in which case I could probably head over from the lakes.

OK, it's my bad - I am leaving on holiday on the Saturday, but it may still be possible for me to attend Friday night. I'll confirm when I get some idea of when I need to be at my holiday destination.
