Offside door mirror replacement

Featured Replies

My offside door mirror has been trashed by some idiot and I need to replace it.

It is a manual one, plain black plastic (not painted). Looking around ebay etc. I see similar mirrors for FELICIAs etc. (not many FABIA ones) which look identical, are these the same, can other mirrors be used?

What's the procedure for changing it, looks like I need to remove door trim and I assume it just unbolts from inside.

cheers in advance

tim

Someone kindly trashed my Fabia VRS door mirror, and didn't say thankyou. ???????

Had mine replaced by Skoda dealership.

Admit it was drivers door mirror effected.

Yep, scary prices!

Looks like from the labour charge it is a 5 min job (literally)......£60 hour probably, stealership prices, even for a humble Skoda!

Well if you find out let me know too, cos mine was knocked off flush by some nice bmw driver,

Dealer price is about £56 + vat, as mine is manual too.

though i am thinking i'll buy some aftermarket ones, can get a pair for £40 on flea bay
