Well! After 17 weeks, the wait is almost over. Popped in at the dealers on my way to work to make sure everything was on course for picking her up tomorrow morning. It had been PDI'ed and most of the dealer supplied options fitted - just a few bits and pieces of trim to fix on. Once they'd finished it off and cleaned it up, they were going to put it in the showroom for the rest of the day. They'd never supplied a Yeti with that many extras before and I must admit, even with a few more bits of trim to go, it was looking well impressive.

The roof bars and luggage basket look great and, although there's a few on this forum who have expressed negative views about the side steps, I was well chuffed with how they look - they set it off a treat! Even the dealer principle admitted that he'd made a bulk order for some (which have now all been allocated). Not sure I like that idea though, I'd rather my beast remain as exclusive as possible.

Will, naturally, post some pics of her when I've got round to taking some decent photos.

Here's to tomorrow. I'll be counting the seconds from now on.

side steps???......i was on about this to my dad tother day, what it needs is a great big roof rack ala land rover/paris dakar jeeps...and a ladder/steps..oh and a spare wheel on the rear door'...good luck collecting tomorrow dave

A man after my own heart! The luggage basket is a well sexy bit of kit, all nicely sculpted to lower wind resistance. No ladder option though else I may have even gone for that.

Congrats on the impending arrival.
