Hi all, I have just ordered an Ebay Quickshift kit (the £27 one) and I have heard that they do not come with fitting instructions. Does anyone have one fitted and if so how easy was it? Also what is peoples opinions on these generally?

Yeah its kind of like a copy of the Forge one. I have now been sent the fitting instructions from the people on Ebay that I bought it from.

you'll have to tell us if its any good. I was thinking about the forge one and will be ordering those bush's thats robs bought as seams like cheap mod with some benfit. the ones i like!

If it is that one, it's similar to the B&M short shifter but lot cheaper, someone fit one a couple of months back, can't remember who, should come up with a search.

The link above is correct, thats the one. It basically replaces the whole gear stick. Quite complicated to fit IMO which is why my local garage will be doing it. Have had enough of the sloppy gearchange, especially as Im coming from mainly Honda's (S2000, DC5 Teg. 06 Civic, Prelude vtec etc - which have nice tight changes.)

The fitting instructions I was sent are for the B and M so they are obviously pretty similar.

Once its fitted and I have tried it I will report my results. Also have a Sachs VR6 clutch and G60 Flywheel to go on there :yes:

NIce one, yea post some pics up as well so we can see what the knob looks like.

The knob will be most likely a mk2 golf gti knob. This kit does not actually come with a knob and I have heard that the VRS one wont fit.
