Damn...damn....and double damn.

I would have loved to go to this just to see how my standard Furby is performing. Unfortunately I am going darn sarf to the inlaws that weekend.

Plus my Furby got smacked by an off-duty plod on a motorcycle who thought it would be fun to jump a red-light at over 70mph.

Furby in for repairs (only minor cosmetic damage) and the plod got 3 points and a £60 fine from his colleagues.

Got a nice hire car via insurance to get me by......An Astra Twin Top thingy with mad transformer electric roof. A bit 'gay' and absolutley no power even though it's a 1.8 which should have 130bhp.

Would love to go as I work across the road from them however the only mod I've got is a PD160 is I doubt it's going to be much different from the factory figures.

2bh mate its been heard that people have had there car on rollers whilst standard and getting figures like 147 bhp so may be interesting, if not just pop to perv on others skodas? haha

We need some new blood at these - just not sure how we go about it...

I'll be at another car event on this Saturday, so I won't be able to make it. I wouldn't have run anyway as I've not changed anything since the last RR day.

On a more serious note, with less than 2 weeks togo and the list not even being 1/2 full I'm going to cancel the event.

Well I could keep to the 'traditional' day in the autumn; Oct/Nov time? As for more to do, it's a tricky one. I could suggest a driving route out for half the day say, but then if we have decent numbers (20-odd cars running say) then that usually takes from first thing until past lunch.

Will have to see anyway. But if there's a chance of reasonably attendance I'll look at something later in the year.
