Hi,

recently collected my 2005 Fabia vRS in Silver. Looking to personalise the car without spending a fortune as i am running a Mk1 Focus RS alongside this.

Where can a get some pressed german plates from (best quality)?

Eibachs of course are needed, how much to pay for fitting? Cheapest place to buy them from?

If i fit D90's what size tyre would i need, what size adapters to get the wheels sitting right?

If i decide to stick with the original alloys shall i fit spacers to get the wheels sitting right?

Which is the best panel filter to buy? Drilled airbox?

Best front splitter? Cupra r or other?

To de-badge or not to de-badge?

Sprayed grill?

Thanks

1.) i put the front cupra splitter on my silver vrs and after having it a while you would think it came out of the factory like it, it just works left black.

2.) I took off the fabia badge off the back but left the vrs badge and the skoda, just to let the boy racers know what they've just been done by!!!

3.) have a look down the forum listing there is a section for tunning company's links, im waiting on koni strt kit and the mo as i wanted more than just springs.

If you look at my sig you can see what else ive done most recent is the performance clutch, the other thing thats raved about on here is the rear anti roll bar either whiteline or jabba bout 100 quid difference between them whiteline being the cheaper.

forgot remap is a brill idea!!!

Eibachs of course are needed, how much to pay for fitting? £80-£100 Cheapest place to buy them from? AWESOME GTI

If i fit D90's what size tyre would i need, what size adapters to get the wheels sitting right? DEPENDS ON THE OFFSET OF THEM

If i decide to stick with the original alloys shall i fit spacers to get the wheels sitting right? NOT IMO

Which is the best panel filter to buy? Drilled airbox? STICK WITH OEM PAPER...MAKES LITTLE DIFFERENCE

Best front splitter? Cupra r or other? NEVA SEEN ANYTHING OTHE THAN A CUPRA USED

To de-badge or not to de-badge? DE-BADGE

Sprayed grill? COLOUR CODE IT

Where can i get a carbon-style grille from? and is it possible to get a porsche badge to replace the skoda on steering wheel?

Anyone using carbon vinyl wrap on roof / mirrors / bonnet etc?

You have to buy the carbon wrap stuff yourself and do it on the grill.

If you can get the right sized porsche badge I should think so :)

The best panel filter you can buy is a paper oem one

Green panel filter FTW! No need to replace each year, clean it properly and its all good!

If you do get a "performance" air filter remember to do more regular oil changes to cope with the extra dirt that ends up in your engine

Unit 18 would be cheapest for fitting, and a top notch service from Ali too. Only a hour away, well worth the trip

Matt

Here's mine with a LCR splitter and black grill. Colour coded grill only works on black and yellow fabias IMO
