not needed unless you doing track days and geting the turbo really hot...even if you are then you only need to drive it slowly for a few mins or let it idle for a while to allow it to cool and fresh oil to circulate..

Just let it stand for a minute or two. I'm sure you can add a minute to the duration of your journey, no hassle

I'm looking for a turbo timer too cos i get bored sitting with the car at idle. So least with the turbo timer i don't have to lol

Although my Fabia is now my mrs' daily drive and i have a wee Corsa to mess about with

Pointless, just ease off when your nearly home, surely most people live in a area where its 30mph anyway?! Even then, as mr hunt said, extra min or two isnt going to make a bit difference to your life.

If you fit one, your going to have to mess with the alarm and immob.

Be very careful with turbo timers. Technically, it is illegal to leave a vehicle engine running unattended, unless it is on your own, or private property. If you drive the last mile of your journey like a granny, you can switch off after a few seconds idle.

Surely a turbo timer is only needed for track use. All you need to do in normal driving is not boot it during the last mile or two of the journey, cruise home, then idle for 5 seconds and switch off.
