Can the Colubus DVD player in the Superb be used to hook up to aftermarket monitors? I'm thinking of the kids bored to death on long journeys! Any advice greatly appreciated.

If so will this allow the DVD to play the picture all the time?

Yes it can, and yes it does allow video in motion to the externally connected monitors.

I think you need to custom make your own wiring loom as nothing is commercially available off the shelf. The pin outs and part numbers needed can be found on various websites, I would link to a google search but for some reason google is not working here with the 3G wireless dongle in spain.

I don't think the unit linked there hooks into the Columbus?

I think it work in isolation from USB etc?
