My new VRS CDi is great, ran it in to Scotlland and back at steady 77 mph and got average of 55.6 mpg over nearly 500 odd miles.

BUT, my old insulated tea mug wont fit the any of the three holes for drinks in the centre console.

Anyone else use an insulated mug? what size....where from?

Car is great....jt drinking tea is also important!

Hi,

Best one I got is a Costa one bought from my local Costa Coffee Emporium. Fits a treat and passes even passes the drop test with flying colours due to the really good sealing on the cap.

Oh, and welcome to the site..:)

Is the Costa mug stainless steel on the inside? I can't abide the taste of coffee out of a plastic mug?

It's a one-off from one of my clients who is in the promotional gifts business...perhaps we should put it into production? :giggle:

I got my Thermos insulated mug from argos, it is the one with the step in the side rather than straight and tapered, it fits in my centre console cup holders a treat, though it is a plastic interior one, I found that doesn't affect the taste at all.

Looks like the same mug sold by MotorSport Vision

The Subway coffee mug is the same shape as this too :) ....and i think it's only a couple of quid.

This style of mug is pretty widely available, unbranded and unengraved, for a couple of pounds (or less).
